Georgia’s performance-based writing assessments are administered to students in grades three, five, eight grades. This assessment tool provides feedback about each students individual performance when it comes to the organization of ideas and sentence structure.
Writing is one of the most difficult task for most students to achieve successfully. One reason for this difficulty is the fact that writing has been an area of the curriculum that has been ignored for many years in some of our schools. Just recently, the schools systems have integrate more writing exercises into the curriculum.
